Our Story
We are Emilia and Letizia — born on the same day, raised in the same house, and sharing the same love for ice and movement. But we're also two very different people, and that's what makes us, us.
We grew up in Grenzach-Wyhlen, a small town nestled between Germany and Switzerland. At 7, our parents brought us to the local ice rink for the first time — and that was it. We were hooked. Within months we were training seriously, and within a year we knew skating would be a major part of our lives.
We train almost daily, fitting sessions in after school (we're currently in 9th grade). We compete individually — Swiss Championships included — but we never see each other as rivals. We always say: we win together, and we lose together. Coaching and ice time costs around €1,500 a month, which is why we actively look for sponsors.
Somewhere along the way, someone suggested we share our skating clips online. That turned into a lifestyle channel, which turned into over 2.3 million followers on Instagram alone. We've been featured in the ARD documentary series "Schau in meine Welt!" and we're grateful every day that people care about our journey.
People always ask: how do you tell them apart? Our close friends say it's the way we talk. We share almost everything — interests, taste in music, our skating goals — but there's one thing that definitely separates us: spicy food. One of us loves it. The other? Not so much.
Emilia and Letizia were born on May 31, 2010, in Germany. That makes them 15 years old (as of 2025). They will turn 16 on May 31, 2026.
